A spin on a classic Middle Eastern condiment, the techina. By adding beets the techina has a hint of natural sweetness and a beautiful color!
Ingredients
- 2 beets, cooked and pureed
- 1 cup, techina paste
- Juice from a whole lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- At least 1/2 cup of ice water, add more water if you like it thinner
Recipe
- Blend together in food processor, correct seasoning if necessary. Add more water if needs to be thinner.
Serve on anything!
